Service items for AGO-1
STATION:
DAU
Replace the NVRAM with a new
NVRAM.
Shutoff valve
Replace batteries in the shutoff
valve.
TEG
Set pressure to 3.5 PSI. Set each burner temperature to
260-300°C. Set the indoor temperature
to 15-20°C.
Install new Turbo cable
EXPERIMENTS:
Lucent Fluxgate magnetometer
See service instructions for
normal servicing. Verify H axis. There should be no offset. Verify that the operating range switch is
set to 10^3 nT.
Tohuku searchcoil magnetometer
Verify that the experiment is
functioning.
Stanford VLF receiver
Verify operation. Perform the ‘calibration’ procedure if the
equipment is available. Install new
batteries.
University of Maryland Riometer
Install the new filter module in
the Riometer vault. Verify operation of
the experiment over a 24-hour period.
Verify that the data does not seem to clip at a lower that expected
value.
Dartmouth LF/MF/HF receiver
Collect data and verify the
operation of the experiment.
Allsky camera
Verify batteries. If calibration flashlight is available, use
it to capture a few images. If not,
capture blank images (with the camera completely covered). Verify the locations of the calibration squares
and the photodiode levels.
Anubis Seismic
Install the Anubis seismic experiment
per the experimenters’ documentation.
Verify operation of the experiment.
NASA LIDAR
Remove experiment from station and
return it to Jonathan.
